Norman Mental Health Services – Behavioral Health Center at Porter Health Village

Residents in south central Oklahoma now have expanded access to behavioral health services.
Norman Regional Health System and Oceans Healthcare constructed a new, state-of-the-art behavioral health hospital. The 48-bed Behavioral Health Center at Porter Health Village more than doubled Norman Regional’s previous inpatient capacity for behavioral health patients.
Opened June 2024, the freestanding hospital is located on the Norman Regional Porter campus and replaced the existing 20-bed behavioral health unit.
Services include:
- Treatment for adults 18+ and dedicated services for seniors 55+
- Intensive outpatient program for patients 18+
- Partial Hospitalization Program for patients 18+
- Patients under the care of board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrists
- Daily monitoring with medical physician consultation
- Substance use disorder treatment
- Diagnosis and symptom education
- Medication education and management
- Caregiver and/or family therapy options
- Group therapy
- Recreational therapy
- Supportive discharge planning

About Oceans Behavioral Health Center at Porter Health Village
Our Behavioral Health Center at Porter Health Village is designed to support adults living with mental health conditions and has dedicated services for seniors age 55+. This facility has 48 beds for inpatient treatment and also has a partial hospitalization program and an intensive outpatient program. We utilize techniques including group therapy, recreational therapy, diagnosis education, and more.
