James E. Butler, M.D., Ph.D., serves as a Chief Medical Officer for Oceans Healthcare, a nationally recognized provider of behavioral health services with 33 locations in Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi.

As general counsel, compliance and privacy officer, Laura works to protect the rights of patients and advocate for expanding access to behavioral health treatment in the communities Oceans serves.

With three decades of industry experience, Melynda Boothe leads Oceans’ quality and process improvement efforts. Under her leadership, the company has consistently achieved industry-leading performance metrics in national quality and safety measurements.

Maegan drives Oceans’ business and operational outcomes to ensure new facilities launch effectively and integrate smoothly into the company’s network of care providers across the southeast.

With more than three decades of human resources experience, Tammy Steele has earned a reputation as a strong leader with an entrepreneurial mindset. In her role with Oceans, Tammy works closely with her team to create a cohesive unit integral to our continued success as an employer of choice, supports organizational goals and provides value to our employees.
