Oceans Healthcare Names Brach Myers Vice President of Business Development

PLANO, Texas. – Oceans Healthcare today announced that Brach J. Myers has joined the company as Vice President of Corporate Development. In his role, he will help lead efforts to expand the organization’s partnerships with hospitals and health systems, supporting Oceans Healthcare’s continued growth in communities across the country.

Myers brings more than two decades of healthcare leadership experience spanning growth strategy, mergers and acquisitions and hospital partnership development. During his time at LHC Group, he played a significant role in building and strengthening hospital joint venture relationships across the country, including serving as vice president of strategic partnerships, where he was the primary executive liaison for a national network of more than 70 hospital joint ventures spanning more than 200 hospitals across 30-plus states. He later served as senior vice president of sales and senior vice president of corporate development for the organization.

In his role with Oceans Healthcare, Myers will work with company leaders to identify and cultivate strategic opportunities that expand access to high-quality behavioral health care in communities with significant need.

“Brach understands how to build thoughtful partnerships that work for health systems, providers and the communities they serve,” said Stuart Archer, chief executive officer of Oceans Healthcare. “Our model is built on collaboration. Health systems are increasingly looking for partners who bring clinical quality, operational discipline and a long-term commitment to expanding behavioral health access. Brach’s experience developing successful hospital partnerships across the country will help us continue building those relationships.”

Myers said he is excited to join an organization with a strong reputation for partnership and a mission-driven approach to growth.

“Oceans Healthcare has built a reputation for expanding behavioral health services in a way that is intentional, disciplined and community-focused,” Myers said. “I look forward to working alongside the Oceans team to develop partnerships that strengthen behavioral health care and improve access for patients and families.”
