Oceans Behavioral Hospital – Lubbock Expands Behavioral Health Access Through Virtual Outpatient Program

Virtual Outpatient Program increases access to structured care across West Texas

LUBBOCK, Texas, – Oceans Behavioral Hospital – Lubbock is expanding access to behavioral health services across West Texas through its Virtual Outpatient Program (OP), providing structured, evidence-based care while allowing individuals to remain connected to family, work and daily responsibilities.

Across West Texas, many individuals face barriers to accessing behavioral health care. Oceans’ Virtual Outpatient Program provides individuals with a flexible treatment option designed to reduce travel and scheduling challenges while maintaining consistent, high-quality clinical support.

“Access is one of the most significant challenges in behavioral health care, particularly in a large region like West Texas,” said Janne Knight, CEO of Oceans Behavioral Hospital – Lubbock. “Our Virtual Outpatient Program allows us to extend care beyond the walls of the hospital and reach individuals across our communities who may otherwise delay or go without treatment.”

Care is delivered by experienced multidisciplinary teams who focus on safety, clinical quality and, meaningful progress. Programs are designed to help individuals build coping skills, strengthen resilience, and support long-term recovery.

As behavioral health needs continue to grow across West Texas, Oceans Behavioral Hospital – Lubbock remains committed to supporting the mental health of the communities it serves.
