New program expands access to high-quality, patient first behavioral health in Jackson, Mississippi

JACKSON, Miss. – Oceans Healthcare today announced the launch of its Virtual Outpatient Program (OP) in Jackson, offering adults access to structured mental health support from the comfort of their own homes.

The fully virtual program is designed for individuals who need more support than traditional weekly therapy but want care that fits into everyday life. Through secure online sessions, patients can participate in treatment while continuing to balance work, school, and family responsibilities.

“Many of the patients we serve are looking for meaningful support that fits into their lives,” said Colton Reed, CEO of Oceans Behavioral Hospital – Jackson. “Virtual OP allows us to provide high-quality, clinically guided care in a way that’s accessible to individuals and families throughout the Jackson community.”

Virtual OP provides patients with consistent, therapist-led care several days per week through a secure virtual platform. The program focuses on helping patients strengthen coping skills, regulate emotions, and build practical tools that support stability and progress outside of treatment sessions.

“This program reflects Oceans’ commitment to quality, patient-first care,” said Nicole Kikta, Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations at Oceans Healthcare. “Through Virtual OP, we deliver care with the same clinical integrity that defines our organization while supporting continuity across a patient’s treatment journey. It’s about meeting patients with compassion, dignity, and the right level of support at the right time.

Virtual OP is available to adults and is supported by a range of insurance plans.
