Oceans Healthcare Names Jamie Higgins Hospital CEO for Opelousas Experienced healthcare leader to guide hospital operations and clinical excellence 

PLANO, Texas. –  Oceans Healthcare, a behavioral health provider focused on healing and long-term recovery, today announced the appointment of Jamie Higgins, LMSW as Hospital CEO for Oceans Behavioral Hospital in Opelousas. 

In this role, Higgins will provide executive leadership for hospital operations, clinical services, and strategic initiatives, supporting high-quality care delivery and operational excellence within the Louisiana market.

Higgins joined Oceans Healthcare in 2022 at Haven Behavioral Hospital – Phoenix, where she served as Director of Clinical Services prior to entering the inaugural COO Fellowship Program. She most recently was selected to serve as interim CEO in Opelousas in January. 

Her leadership during the interim period reflected a strong focus on operational performance, quality care, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. 

Higgins is a Licensed Master Social Worker and brings a disciplined, mission-driven leadership approach aligned with Oceans Healthcare’s commitment to quality, accountability, and patient-centered care.
