Evening hours provide convenient mental health treatment options for adults

LONGVIEW, Texas. – Oceans Behavioral Hospital – Longview, a behavioral health provider focused on healing and long-term recovery, today announced the opening of its evening Intensive Outpatient Program for adults 18 and older. Texas ranks last in the nation for access to mental health care according to the 2023 Mental Health America report. Recognizing this growing need for care, the program will provide specialized mental health treatment for adults and seniors managing symptoms of depression, anxiety, substance abuse and other behavioral health challenges.

“We understand many people require flexible scheduling to address daily responsibilities and manage their mental health,” said Dr. Rupa Peddireddy, medical director of Oceans Behavioral Hospital Longview. “Our evening Intensive Outpatient Program offers the same level of high-quality, compassionate care as our other treatment programs at times to better accommodate patients with busy daytime routines.”

Individuals can receive treatment Monday through Thursday from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the hospital, located at 615 Clinic Drive. Oceans Longview also offers inpatient behavioral health treatment options for individuals 50 and older.
