Behavioral health provider hires Emmy-nominated industry leader to head marcom strategy
PLANO, Texas. – Oceans Healthcare, a behavioral health provider focused on healing and long-term recovery, today announced industry veteran Amy Stevens as its executive vice president of marketing and communications. Stevens will steward the organization’s effort to continue building its mission-driven reputation that reflects the heart of its growing nationwide system.
In this role, Stevens will oversee marketing and communications for Oceans Behavioral Hospitals, outpatient departments, partnerships, recruitment efforts and internal engagement across more than 50 locations in nine states.

Stevens is an Emmy-nominated writer and producer with more than 26 years in healthcare. Most recently she served as vice president and chief marketing officer for Tidelands Health, a four-hospital 70-location community health system in coastal South Carolina. Prior to, she was vice president of marketing and communications for Louisiana-based LHC Group, one of the nation’s largest publicly traded post-acute care companies.
She is deeply involved with the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, where she serves on the national advisory board and regularly speaks at the organization’s annual conference. She is a frequent featured speaker at industry events, presenting on marketing and communications topics such as patient experience, data-driven strategy, mobile technology and recruitment.
Stevens holds a bachelor’s degree from East Tennessee State University, a master’s from Tusculum University and an MBA from King University.
