Residents of Jackson and Hinds County will soon have expanded access to behavioral health services.

Oceans Healthcare is opening a free-standing behavioral health facility – Oceans Behavioral Hospital Jackson – at 2969 North Curran Drive in Jackson. The facility will provide inpatient and outpatient treatment options for adult and senior patients managing mental health challenges. Future services may include substance use disorder treatment.

Referrals accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Accepting Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare and most private insurance.

Services will include

Oceans Jackson will provide inpatient and outpatient mental health services in a safe and comfortable environment with individual and group treatment programs designed to meet the specific needs of patients during any stage of life.

Treatment for adults 18+ and dedicated services for seniors 55+
Patients under the care of board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrists
Daily monitoring with medical physician consultation
Diagnosis and symptom education
Medication education and management
Caregiver and/or family therapy options
Group therapy
Recreational therapy
Supportive discharge planning
