Addressing Jackson’s Mental Health Needs
Our mission is to care for the mental health needs of everyone in Jackson and throughout Hinds County. According to data collected between 2020 and 2024, 27.55 per 100,000 people living in Hinds County experienced severe depression. Severe depression depletes a person’s energy and seriously impacts their quality of life. It can occur on its own or as a part of a larger mental health condition, like bipolar disorder.
At Ocean’s Behavioral Health Jackson, we’re here to heal our local community. We empower clients to develop the skills necessary for successful symptom management.
Our behavioral health treatment programs are focused on healing and long-term recovery with the goal of helping patients return to their lives. Whether our patients are experiencing common mental health challenges like depression and anxiety or another behavioral health concern complicated by a dual diagnosis, our staff treats every patient with dignity and respect on their path to healing.

Depression Treatment
Depression can impact every aspect of life— from energy levels to relationships and self-worth. Our team offers individualized care, including therapy and medical support, to help patients recover from depression and rediscover motivation and emotional balance.
Bipolar Disorder Treatment
Bipolar disorder involves disruptive cycles of high-energy mania and deep depressive episodes. We focus on mood regulation, behavior stabilization, and education, giving patients the tools to manage symptoms and live more consistently and confidently.
ADHD Treatment
Adult ADHD often leads to disorganization, distraction, and frustration. Our therapists work with patients to build time-management skills, improve concentration, and enhance focus through behavioral strategies and supportive treatment.
OCD Treatment
Obsessive-compulsive disorder is marked by unwanted thoughts and repetitive behaviors. Our Jackson team provides evidence-based therapies like exposure and response prevention (ERP) to help individuals challenge and reduce compulsive behaviors and regain control over daily life.
PTSD Treatment
Post-traumatic stress disorder can develop after traumatic events, bringing flashbacks, nightmares, and emotional numbness. We offer trauma-informed therapy in a supportive environment where patients can process difficult experiences and rebuild emotional security.
Trauma Therapy
Trauma doesn’t have to define your future. We offer trauma therapy for individuals working to recover from abuse, loss, or violence, helping them reframe their story and develop coping skills for a more empowered and peaceful life.
Antisocial Personality Disorder Treatment
This condition may involve impulsivity, disregard for others, and rule-breaking behaviors. Through therapy, we help individuals develop accountability, empathy, and skills to improve their interactions and decision-making.
Panic Disorder Treatment
Panic disorder can cause sudden and intense episodes of fear accompanied by physical symptoms like shortness of breath or chest pain. Our treatment helps patients understand and reduce panic episodes while building confidence in managing symptoms.
Anxiety Treatment
Anxiety can be persistent and debilitating, affecting sleep, concentration, and daily functioning. At our Jackson facility, we provide therapeutic tools, education, and medication management to help patients manage worry and stress and restore peace of mind.
Borderline Personality Disorder Treatment
Emotional intensity, relationship struggles, and fear of abandonment are common with BPD. We offer structured, compassionate care using approaches like dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help individuals manage emotions and foster more stable relationships.
Dependent Personality Disorder Treatment
People with dependent personality disorder often struggle to act independently or make decisions without reassurance. Our clinicians support these individuals in building self-confidence, autonomy, and a healthier sense of self.
Narcissistic Disorder Treatment
Narcissistic personality disorder can interfere with emotional growth and interpersonal dynamics. We help individuals gain insight, develop empathy, and learn how to build more meaningful and respectful relationships through therapy.
Complicated Grief Treatment
When grief becomes overwhelming or prolonged, it can affect a person’s ability to function. We provide therapeutic support to help individuals process their loss, rebuild strength, and move forward while honoring their loved one’s memory.
Dissociative Disorder Treatment
Dissociative disorders often result in memory gaps, emotional disconnection, or identity confusion. Our trauma-informed care helps patients ground themselves, reconnect, and heal in a safe and structured environment.

Unaddressed trauma from early life can lead to emotional and behavioral difficulties in adulthood. We help patients explore their experiences with care and sensitivity, offering tools for healing and a path toward greater emotional stability.
