KPLC: Oceans Lake Charles expands to offer adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program

Oceans Behavioral Hospital Lake Charles Director of Outpatient Services Marcell Gary and Therapist Shianne Syed sat down with KPLC 7 to discuss how the new outpatient program can address care gaps and the growing need for specialized behavioral health treatment for adolescents.

Oceans Behavioral Hospital Lake Charles, a behavioral health provider focused on healing and long-term recovery, today announced the opening of its Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adolescents ages 12-17. The program will provide specialized mental health treatment for young people managing depression, anxiety, substance use disorder and other behavioral health challenges.

Oceans Behavioral Hospital Baton Rouge and Oceans Behavioral Hospital Broussard, behavioral health providers focused on healing and long-term recovery, today announced the opening of adolescent Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). The hospitals are part of the Oceans Healthcare system and serve southern and Southeast Louisiana.
