MIDLAND, Texas – (February 22, 2019) – Oceans Behavioral Hospital Permian Basin, a behavioral health provider focused on healing and long-term recovery, today announced the addition of Emileh Flitton as hospital administrator. Flitton, a native of Midland, Texas, is a registered nurse with a specialty in geriatric treatment and brings more than 15 years of health care experience to the role.

As hospital administrator, Flitton will ensure quality and safety standards are met, focus on ensuring patient satisfaction and be an internal culturing champion of the company’s core convictions. Prior to joining Oceans Behavioral Hospital Permian Basin, Flitton served as chief nursing officer at ContinueCARE Hospital at Midland Memorial. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Oceans Behavioral Hospital Permian Basin provides inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment for adolescents 12 – 17, adults 18 – 54 and seniors 55 and older experiencing anxiety, depression and other behavioral health challenges. The hospital’s team of board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrists, nurse practitioners and specialty-trained clinicians provide individual and family counseling; counselor-led support groups; medication management; and mental health education.
