The MHT is responsible for supporting the nursing staff in maintaining a therapeutic milieu by performing routinely assigned tasks and carrying out patient care activities within the scope of the MHT's training and experience. The MHT assists with direct patient care activities such as vital signs, ADL, meal monitoring, ambulation and documentation of basic patient information within the scope of their education and training. The MHT will maintain a safe and professional standard for patient care in accordance with Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations, Oceans' Mission, policies and procedures and PI Standards.
The Clinical Nurse Auditor(CNA) is responsible for performing medical record audits for validation and interpretation of the documentation in meeting the established clinical criteria. This position focuses on verification that   the services performed and the level of care provided are accounted for in the medical record. The CNA works to identify patterns and trends within the hospitals related to the strengths and weaknesses of the clinical documentation.   Performs audits on clinically denied accounts in conjunction with the Utilization Review and the Revenue Cycle staff to determine criteria for benefits and denied days. Works closely and supports the duties of others in taking the steps necessary for identifying medial necessity during   governmental appeals to the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) and Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) In addition, act as a member of the   validation team to perform on site audits of regulatory standards. The CNA maintains standards of professional nursing standards in accordance with   external governing and credentialing bodies, performance improvement standards, and psychiatric   standards. The CNA interprets age/disability specific information in response to populations served. The CNA assumes responsibility for professional development, continuing education and maintaining licensure as a nurse. All duties to be done in accordance with Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations, Oceans' Mission and PI Standards.
High school graduate or equivalent preferred and at least 1 year experience working with psychiatric patients in an inpatient setting. 
Must be able to read, to write and to follow verbal and written instruction. Must work well with diverse populations. Must utilize Age, Disability and Cultural Specific knowledge in working with specialized populations to best communicate with those clients. Must be in good physical and mental health as evidenced by a warm empathetic attitude, respect for dignity, worth and potentiality of clients and hold a high sense of personal integrity. Must be able to work under close supervision. 
Maintains current Chauffeur's License and a safe driving record. CPR certified.
